A presentation of the Directors of Viking Drilling ASA follows below. The Directors were elected at the extraordinary shareholders’ meeting on November 6, 2006. Christen Sveaas and Erik Wahlstrøm were elected for a period of one year; the remaining directors for a period of two years.
 
Christen Sveaas, Norway – Chairman
Mr. Sveaas is the sole owner of Kistefos AS, a privately owned Norwegian investment company based in Oslo, Norway. The investment portfolio consists of listed and privately held companies mainly within offshore services, shipping and IT/telecommunications. The main focus is on three assets classes: Shipping & Offshore Services, Private Equity and Venture Capital.

Mr. Sveaas holds a Lic.Oec.HSG degree, equivalent to MBA degree, from the University of St. Gall, Switzerland, 1981.
 
Kristin Gjertsen, Norway
Mrs. Gjertsen is responsible for all Hydro ASA non-operator equities in Haltenbanken and Norskehavet on the Norwegian continental shelf, and has been working for Hydro since year 2000. This area represents approximately 10–15% of Hydro’s total income. She has more than 10 years experience from the oil & gas industry, working in various positions with Saga Petroleum ASA (1998–99), Andersen Consulting/Accenture (1996–98) and Esso Norge AS (1993–96).

Mrs. Gjertsen holds a Master of Science degree from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (1992) and Master of Business Administration degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (2004).
 
Anne Gro Gulla, Norway
Mrs. Gulla runs a consultancy business through her wholly owned company, Gullas Brand Consultancy. Since 2005, she has been engaged by Kilda Biolink as Marketing Director. She served as Managing Director at Scandinavian Design Group (1998–2003), Marketing Manager at Coca Cola Nordic & Northern Eurasia (1996-98) and European Brand Manager at Unilever, Hamburg (1990–96). She is currently a board member of Conseptor ASA, Cod Farmers ASA and Hareide Designmill AS.

Mrs. Gulla holds a Master of Business degree from Mannheim, Germany (1989) and has attended several courses at IMD Lausanne. She is a graduate from MacArthur High School, Irving, Texas.
 
Bente Thiis Thornton, Norway
Mrs. Thornton currently holds a position as SVP Technology & Products at Vetco Aibel AS, she has been working since 1995 (including ABB Offshore Systems AS). Vetco is a leading supplier of products and services to the upstream oil and gas industry. Prior to Vetco, she worked at Elf Petroleum Norge (1991–93), Seanor Engineering AS (1990–91), Norwegian Petroleum Consultants AS (1989–90), Statoil (1985–89) and Ford Motor Norge (1981–82).

Mrs. Thornton holds a Bachelor degree in Petroleum Technology from Norwegian Institute of Technology (1985) and has concluded two Master of Management programs at the Norwegian Business School.
 
Erik Wahlstrøm, Norway
Mr. Wahlstrøm has practiced law since 1976, and has extensive experience as a business lawyer. He has served as member of several public law commissions, lectured in tax-law and published several articles. He is the previous chairman of the Norwegian Shareholder Association and the Norwegian Taxpayer Association. Mr. Wahlstrøm has served as a board member for a number of companies, foundations and organizations. Mr. Wahlstrøm currently serves on the boards of Kistefos AS, Kistefos Investment AS and AS Holding, all controlled by Mr. Christen Sveaas, chairman of Viking Drilling ASA.
 
W. Dennis Heagney, Texas, USA – CEO & President
Mr. Heagney was appointed CEO & President of Viking Drilling ASA and Viking Offshore (USA) Inc., Texas, a wholly owned management company, effective January 2nd, 2007. He is based in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Heagney has more than 30 years of experience and a proven track record in the offshore drilling industry.

He served as Chief Operating Officer of Transocean Offshore Inc. (1996–2002), the world’s largest drilling contractor. From 1969 to 1995, he worked for Sonat Offshore Drilling Inc., including nine years as President (1986-1995). Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Business Development of Songa Management Inc., in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Heagney played a leading role in the merger between Transocean ASA and Sonat in 1996; the merger between Transocean and Sedco Forex in 2000; and in Transocean’s acquisition of R.B. Falcon in 2001. Mr. Heagney also played a key role in taking Sonat Offshore Drilling public in 1993.

Mr. Heagney is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines with a professional degree in Petroleum Engineering, and has attended a Harvard PMD.
 
Niels Erik Feilberg, Norway – CFO

As of February, 2008, Mr. Feilberg was engaged as CFO of Viking Drilling ASA under a management for hire contract.  Mr. Feilberg is a director of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Norway. He is based in Oslo, Norway.

Prior to joining Viking Drilling ASA, Mr. Feilberg was the CFO of BW Offshore Ltd (2006-08). Mr. Feilberg served as Vice President in Teekay Shipping (01-06), as CFO of Ugland Nordic Shipping ASA (1993–01), as Finance Manager of I.M. Skaugen AS/Eikland AS (89-93) and Finance Manager in Kosmos AS (87-89). Mr Feilberg has also served as CFO of Nordic American Tanker Shipping Ltd. (95-02).

Mr. Feilberg has substantial working experience from the offshore and shipping industry through his employments with BW Offshore, Teekay Shipping and Ugland Nordic Shipping.

 

Mr. Feilberg holds a B.Com. with Honors degree from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, 1984.

 
Mrs. Youllonda Driver, Texas, USA – CFO / Controller
Mrs. Driver was appointed CFO of Viking Offshore (USA), Inc., and Controller of Viking Drilling ASA, effective January 2nd, 2007. She is based in Houston, Texas.

Mrs. Driver most recently served as Operations Controller of Songa Management, Inc., Houston, Texas and held several positions with Transocean Offshore Inc.

She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has a BS and MS in accounting from Oklahoma City University.
